The Doctor

Dr. Diana Austria Scott

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Diana Austria Scott, founder of Scott Chiropractic Center, is a skilled chiropractic health care provider since 1991. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and is a Registered Nurse in 4 states (currently inactive). Her experience has been broad and varied: from a nursing home health care provider in New Jersey to an emergency room nurse in a Florida trauma center. After years of working as a nurse, she realized that she had reached the limits of what the nursing profession can offer. Her desire to accomplish more, pushed her to seek alternative ways of expanding and broadening her skills. Dr. Scott was captivated by the emerging field of chiropractic. A world of health based on a true understanding of human afflictions, its prevention and the application of natural healing. She enrolled at Life Chiropractic College in Marietta Georgia, and graduated cum laude, with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1990. She took and passed the California board examination, and thereafter started her private practice.

Dr. Scott continues to engage in extensive post graduate work in Cervical Acceleration- Deceleration Injury (WHIPLASH), Radiology, Physiotherapy, Patient Management and Diversified Chiropractic Technique. She has also undergone extensive training under the Spine Research Institute of San Diego for whiplash injuries. Dr. Scott has also been certified as an Industrial Disability Evaluator. Dr. Scott is active in several professional organizations like the California Chiropractic Association and the Florida Chiropractic Association. She was a past Board of Directors of the Union City Police Athletic League (PAL), and a Board of Director for the Filipino Community of Alvarado and Vicinity. She also served as Board Chairperson and President of the Filipino Heritage Association Of The East Bay. Balancing her time between her family and profession, Dr. Scott feels confident that she can contribute enough in the chiropractic field to "make a difference."
